Configure and publish in Releasely
What Releasely is for, what it concretely configures, and the launch checklist to follow to publish your app.
Your Apple accounts are ready and your app is registered on the store. From here, everything is driven from Releasely. Releasely connects to your App Store Connect account and prepares and publishes your listing for you: metadata, visuals, legal information, build upload, and version creation.
Every project has a launch checklist that tracks what's left to do. This page explains what each step is for and what it configures.

The checklist, step by step
Credentials
- Add your credentials — connects Releasely to your App Store Connect account, via the API key,
for direct publishing. This is what you prepared (
.p8key, Key ID, Issuer ID, and Bundle ID). See Create your App Store Connect API key.
App Setup
- App Metadata — the names, descriptions, and keywords required by the store. Releasely pushes them for you (you can also generate them with AI).
- Screenshot — at least 3 professional visuals, created in the visuals editor.
- Legal informations — the marketing, support, and privacy policy URLs required by the store.
- Upload — import your Flutter or React Native code, or drop an already-built binary.
Release
- Versions — create a release version of your app, ready to send to the store. Apple then asks for a few submission details: see Version submission.

Releasely can't automate everything. Some listing settings are done directly in App Store Connect: age rating, content rights, privacy, pricing and availability. They're explained in detail here:
