Keyword Suggestion Tool
Get keyword ideas with relevance estimates and search-intent hints from a seed term.
Difficulty and relevance are heuristic estimates. For true keyword rankings, use the full Releasely platform.
How it works
Seed in, structured ideas out
Combinations, intent tags, and honest heuristics. All in your browser.
- 01
Enter a seed keyword
Your core term, like 'photo editor' or 'budget'. Suggestions are built by combining it with common prefixes, suffixes, and modifiers.
- 02
Scan the intents
Each idea is tagged informational, navigational, transactional, or commercial, based on the phrasing. Different intents deserve different fields.
- 03
Read the estimates for what they are
Difficulty and relevance are deterministic heuristics computed in your browser, not live search data. Use them to sort ideas, not to bet a launch.
- 04
Copy into your keywords field
'Copy as keywords' outputs a comma-separated list ready for the App Store's 100-character field. Trim it with the character counter after.
FAQ
Keyword research, answered
They're heuristic estimates computed locally from the keyword itself, meant to help you rank ideas relative to each other. They are not scraped search volumes. For measured rankings and volume, use a full ASO platform.
Intent is what the searcher is trying to do: learn (informational), find a specific app (navigational), get or buy (transactional), or compare (commercial). Transactional and commercial terms usually convert best in titles and subtitles.
The App Store gives you a dedicated 100-character keywords field. Fill it with comma-separated single words, skip words already in your title or subtitle since Apple indexes those too, and don't waste characters on spaces or plurals.
There's no keywords field. Google Play indexes your title, short description, and full description, so work the strongest terms into those naturally. Density between 0.5% and 3% is a healthy target.
